J-M Seleque 'Solessence' Extra Brut, Champagne, France

Sale price$69.99

J-M Sélèque’s Solessence brings together Chardonnay, Meunier, and Pinot Noir from seven villages across Champagne, capturing the diversity of the estate’s clay, flint, limestone, and chalk-rich soils. Jean-Marc Sélèque farms with a meticulous focus on soil health and individual parcels, building Solessence around 50% perpetual reserve wine for added depth and complexity. The current release is 50% Chardonnay, 40% Meunier, and 10% Pinot Noir, fermented and aged in a combination of stainless steel and seasoned oak before bottling unfined and unfiltered at a low Extra Brut dosage. Orchard fruit, white peach, citrus, chalk, brioche, and subtle smoky notes unfold around a creamy mousse and long, saline finish.
