“Chai de la Dive” is a collaborative project involving Romain Guiberteau (Domaine Guiberteau) and Brendan Stater-West, two highly regarded producers working in Saumur. The wine is produced from Cabernet Franc grown on the region’s tuffeau limestone soils and is imported to the U.S. by Veritas Imports, a company known for bringing in small, terroir-focused Loire producers. Red cherry, raspberry, and cranberry with notes of violets, dried herbs, and subtle earthy spice. The palate is fresh and vibrant with bright acidity, fine tannins, and a savory finish.
